FS: stunning Warrior 5-string

Just picked this up from ppal a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, I need to move it

This may be the most beautiful bass I've ever seen. Pictures are pretty close, but it's even more impressive in person. Paul told me he had protective plastic on it right up until when he sold it to me, so it really is in like-new condition. In fact, it's cleaner than any new bass I've ever gotten elsewhere. Quilted maple AAA top, ash body, purple heart stringers down neck, abalone work on rosewood board, tortoise colored tuners.

Plays like a dream as well. As someone else on TB described these, it's like a cross between an MTD and Roscoe; hi-fi, but earthy. Bart soapbars and active electronics, with mid kit. Flatish neck profile, ridiculously low action, clean and punchy everywhere on the neck. Like a dream.

Neck-thru, 34", 18.25mm at the bridge, 1.75" at the nut, 9.5 lbs (digital scale). The *only* reason I'm selling is that I can't deal with anything much above 8 lbs on a full nights gig. As much as I want to, I can't use it.

$2000 shipped in conus. My loss, your gain.

This has been my first "intimate" experience with a Warrior, and I have to say I'm impressed. From a distance, I always suspected these would be PRS-like; gorgeous cosmetics, probably not great players. I was wrong! Playwise and tonewise, this one is up there with the best of the boo-teeks. It is a phenomenal instrument.
