FS: Sunburst Lakland 55-02

This bass was purchased new from Bass Central early this year was built in 2009 from what I understand. This one has been Plekked and was setup by the guys at Lakland, the setup is very low and it plays very well. One of the best I've played to be honest. I've said many times this is one of the ultimate five strings as far as I'm concerned for the money. Everything is great shape. Its strung with D'addario nickels (re-strung Lakland did the setup) and comes with a Lakland hardshell case. Not looking for any trades.

It's a good-lookin' bass, needs a good home, someone who'll love it and take care of it and make it work hard. I really want a deluxe rosewood 55-02 else I'd buy it.

I really like the clarity and depth of the Lakland pickups - the whole package sounds good, really.

If anyone was to buy a 55-01 at today's prices and then upgrade the pickups and preamp, they'd be spending a good bit more than what this bass is selling for.
