Arrow FS: SX (Essex) / Gypsy Rose Medium Scale PJ

I have a Gypsy Rose medium scale (32") PJ in purple with upgrade P pickup (pulled from my old MIJ p bass). CTS pots. J pickup is disconnected but I can reconnect for buyer before shipping.

Looks like this...

$115

These are actually great basses. I bought one for my daughter and was amazed at how good it played and sounded.

^Sounds like a good reason to give it a try! I wish I had seen this before I bought a shortscale Luna yesterday, this is much cooler looking, and probably better made... I'm still tempted though. Is that price shipped conus?

Can you give me a quick description of why the J pickup is disconnected? I see the bass has only two knobs -- I figure those knobs must control vol and tone on both pickups, so I can sorta imagine that it might be desirable to turn one off, but if you have any descriptors as to why then I'd love to hear them.. thanks!

edit: wait, i looked closer and there's another knob?

So then I take it then that one of the knobs just does nothing, at present?

... yes, I'm kind of stalling. The Luna should be here soon (hoping to see it today) and I'm thinking if this SX is still available at that time then it will be my backup plan in case I don't like the Luna. But hey, free bump anyway in the meantime.
