Trying to raise funds for an incoming bass, so up for sale is my SX Jazzuar bass. This bass was purchased primarily for my son to learn on and so he wouldn't play my MIA Fender. Needless to say, he didn't stay interested very long so it hasn't had much playing time in the last couple of years.
It's got the old style headstock and blocked fretboard. The pickup and control cavities are shielded and I installed a Fender S1 switch so pickups can in be run in series or parallel. Also added a black control plate. This thing has nice volume and tone. Pickups are hotter than my Fender jazz and sound pretty good for stock. Currently strung with chrome flats, but I can put some rounds on it if you prefer.
The neck and body are in very good shape with no noticeable dings or gouges. There are some swirls on the back and light scratches on the pickguard. Truss rod operates as it should. Weight is just a shade over 9 lbs
Comes with a generic gig bag.
