FS SX PJ, old headstock, Maple/Maple, Gold Hrdwr

Sign in to disble this ad
I just bought and upgraded this SX PJ
It's antique white, Black pickguard, stock pickups
I bought an Old Style Headstock Maple/Maple neck to put on it.
I put all gold hardware on it (bridge, tuners, knobs, string retainer and [neck plate which is not installed but I'll include in the shipment])
Everything works and looks great. The Bass plays great and sounds strong and beefy and has a good PJ sound (a little fatter than a Jazz Bass pickup configuration)

The reason I'm selling it after having it for such a short time is that it will not get any playing time. I play a 5 string as my main live Bass and I have a 4 string Fender American Deluxe P-Bass for my main 4 string.
I didn't really need a passive 4 string like I thought I might.

In the close up of the head stock you can see that I have bad drill skills as I punched through a couple of times. This does not affect playability or the sound.

This is a classy looking great sounding player for somebody looking for a working Bass.

I'm asking $150.00 shipped.
CONUS Paypal only. (no overseas)

Is the neck 'maple' looking or the Rondo nuclear orange. (really hard to tell in the pics)

It's almost the same color as My Am. Deluxe P-Bass neck (and same feel). I have seen orange-r necks from Warmoth.
My eyes say its an OK vintage tint, not an "embarrassing Tang" color.
