This thing is in great condition. When i got it, it had some nastiness on the frets and fingerboard. I changed the strings and spent some time cleaning the frets. It looks much better now. I've also oiled the board with lemon oil. I'll be waxing the body with Warwick wax before it ships out.
It has the original EMG pickups and 2 band eq. It does not have an eq bypass like the newer generation does. Bass is currently strung up with Fodera Diamond strings (nickel, taper B). It comes with a light warwick gig bag from that generation (not a rockbag). It has Schaller strap locks and i will include the strap ends i bought when i got the bass.
It was going to be held for the previous owner to buy it back, but i don't hear from him very often and i need to sell it to pay for some other purchases and needs.
Price is $1700 + shipping FIRM. You will not see many of these for sale. This is a fair price for something that is vintage, hand-made and in good condition.
Would consider a trade for a sadowsky metro m5-24 (in a pleasing color, lol), 02+ Thumb 5NT (w/nice figuring in the bubinga), Limited edition warwicks (streamers or thumbs, please), Considering other similar valued 5 strings unless you're adding cash.
