FS/T - Alleva Coppolo LG-4 Classic

*sigh* No sooner does the UPS truck drop this off then my 22 y/o hot water heater decides that it would be a good time to dump it's contents all over my garage in a stunning display of wetness. I suddenly find myself needing to pay for a new heater AND bring it up to code, and somehow pay for water damage ...

This is my newest bass, and the one that I am least attached to - I figure I need to sell it before I get too attached to it, as much as it pains me. It's a stunning, and I mean stunning, Alleva Coppolo LG-4 Classic, with perhaps the best sunburst finish that I have ever seen.

It's in great shape - made in 2008, alder body and Indian Rosewood fretboard with a nitro finish and standard AC electronics - volume neck, volume bridge/pull passive, vintage tone, treble, bass. Fantastic condition - a few minor suface marks, including a barely visible "line" above the bridge - an artifact of a Badass bridge that the previous owner had on for a short time. I could not produce it in a picture. The bass comes with an original Alleva Coppolo gig bag.

Price is $2850. I really need the cash, so I am leaning towards a straight sale, or a trade that would net me a decent amount of cash. Not looking for 5's or 6's at the moment. Particularly interested in an Aguilar BD359 or other higher end all tube amp, also a F Bass 4 string. Trades must make financial sense.

If anyone has a Sadowsky Will Lee or Sadowsky SA-200 for trade, I'd be interested and would find another way to finance the water heater replacement.

More pics on request.

That's possibly one of my all time favorite basses right there, color combo and everything. If I didn't just buy a bass I'd be all over it. If I decide to sell one or both of my basses and this guy is still available in the near future I'll get back to you.

Isn't that the way things go? One step forward and two steps back. I am sorry to hear about the water heater issues.

How much cash would you need with a trade?

Right on! I'll PM you here in a few minutes, though I don't have any Sadowsky's or tube amps.

Haha - it wasn't the heater that cost so much, it was bringing it up to code. I mean seriously - $300 for earthquake straps??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
