DS/Trade - Aria Steve Bailey 6 String Fretless

I bought this bass (model, not the exact bass) many years ago when it first came out. I played it for a few years, then ended up trading it on a whim, and regretted it ever since. A few months back one came up for sale and I bought it, also on a whim. I'm selling again ... Great bass - excellent playability, mwah for days, the pickups and electronics are outstanding, and it's a realy, really nice fretless six string, but I am thinning the herd and I have been using either my Surh or F Bass fretlesses, so this one is seeing no playing time.

Bass is in good condition - it's a player, so there are some dings and such, but nothing effects playability. This is a great way to get into a good-quality 6 string fretless.

$600 plus shipping. Comes with gig bag. Local pickup in Seattle is fine. More pics on request.

Open to trades; I prefer jazz-type basss, but willing to consider pretyy much anything.

more pics on request.

What is the string spacing at the bridge on these? Could you please just measure center-on-center from B to C.

I am going to PM you a pic of a trade possibility as well. A nice '99 Fender Jazz V.

String spacing from B to C is right around 90 mm. I measured from center of B to center of E and it looks like 16-17 mm. It's very comfortable, esepcially for fretless

If it is 90mm, then it is an 18mm job, which is an excellent compromise for those who don't like things too narrow. Both Smiths and MTDs are 18mm standard for their sixes. I had a Roscoe 6 too, and despite what everyone kept saying it turned out to be 18mm at the bridge as well.

This appears to have a narrow nut spacing which makes for a noticeable uptick in playability for a 6-string fretless.

On hold, pending payment.

And yeah, I really dig the string spacing on this - not to wide at the bridge, and the fact that it's a little narrower at the nut = great playability!
