TRADED

First off...this bass has been one of my favorites. I haven't played anything lately...no gigs, no band, etc. I'm just trying to move it out and let someone else enjoy it. It is in excellent shape.

Hybrid means it is a set neck construction, but has the feel of a neck-through bass. Has bartolini j coils (hum cancelling) w/aguilar 3 band pre. Switches are mid freq (choice of two) and active/passive. Tuners are hipshot USA.

This bass retails today for $4250 + options.

Asking $2000 shipped with a very nice brand new gator HARD case (red velvet lining). Int'l shipping ok, but will require some extra funds.
Trades: 4 or 5 string bass of lesser value; Mesa Walkabout scout 12" 8 ohm, oem navigation from a 05-06 G35

Here's some random messing around that i recorded a while ago. Chain was bass (strung w/DR Marcus Millers and minor eq adjustment), little mark tube (on tube side, flat eq), presonus firebox, audacity; no editing afterwards. first part is passive and switching between pickups, then something i've been messing with lately in active mode.

i haven't verified it, but i think the board is bubinga or something similar. the serial seems to point to it being made in 2003, but i'm not sure when the last 2 are the year style was adopted.

weight appears to be closer to 8 lbs than the 9 i thought previously...this is using the weigh myself w/ and w/o the bass method.

edit: added info to the original post.
