Previous sale thread with pics

Hey Y'all,

I just received this bass and it is an excellent G&L JB-2. Pretty lightweight, superb condition and G&L's take on a modern J-style neck. It's got a nice voice with plenty of depth, grunt and growl. Molded G&L case (seems to be a slightly older one with the "twist&clamp" latches).

Why am I turning this around so quickly? Because it has confirmed for me (yet again) that I am just not a J-bass guy. Not now, not ever. Give me a P-style bass (SB-2 preferably) or one with humbuckers (L2K) but no J-basses. They just aren't my cup'o'tea.

$635 shipped in the contiguous 48

possible trades:

G&L L-2000
G&L SB-2
G&L Climax/L-1500
G&L ASAT semihollow (3-bolt neck a must here)
Reverend Rumblefish 4

any G&L must have a skinny neck (1.5" wide at the nut) and not be too heavy (under 10 lbs)

*** SOLD ***

p0k - It may be the end of an era. A tree we planted in the front yard has grown so well that it's shading the front of the house where the hardwood floor is. I had much better light upstairs. The carpet doesn't hold a candle to the hardwood as a background but it's all about the light.
