FS/T: G&Lapalooza (custom SB2, skinny necked fretless L2K, 1 or more Tributes)

Hey Y'all,

Time for some holiday season churn and consolidation of multiple of my G&L sale/trade threads into one ala my good friend bdgotoh.

custom US G&L SB-2
I try not to gush as all the basses I buy & sell are pretty nice (one of the advantages of sticking to G&Ls and Rumblefish) but this one is worth a little gushing. The only reason I'm selling it is that for the second time ever I've run into a skinny G&L neck that isn't working for my wrists . This is a pristine SB2 with some nice custom touches - specifically the matching headstock and no face dots on the maple board. It's a great look. The usual 1.5" nut width and satin neck (my favorite). G&L tolex case as well.
$850 shipped in the contiguous 48, paypal OK *** SOLD ***

fretless L-2000
A nice skinny necked (1.5" nut width) 3-bolt fretless L2K. The trans green is rich and vibrant and looks even more stunning in person than in the pics. The fingerboard is ghostlined ebony (shallow slots where the frets would be as very subtle markers) and the neck is satin. It would ship with chrome knobs and a G&L molded case. The reason I'm parting with it is I'd rather have an SB2 fretless for my modest fretless needs.
825 shipped in the contiguous 48, paypal OK

Tributes

I have either one Tribute (a sunburst Trib JB2 with a rosewood board Trib L2K neck on it) or two Tributes ( a sunburst/maple Trib JB2 and a natural/rw Trib L2K) for sale. If someone buys the Trib JB w/L2K neck I'll keep the Trib L2K w/JB2 neck for now.

Trib JB2 (burst/maple, G&L gig bag) -- $395
Trib L2K (natural/rw, G&L gig bag) -- $395 *** SOLD ***

possible trades (all 1.5" nut width, satin neck, 9.5lbs or less):

G&L SB2 fretted
G&L SB2 fretless - unlined or ghostlined ebony

maybes: BABP L1K, Trib SB2, G&L JB2, EBMM Sterling HH or HS, EBMM SLO Stingray HH or HS, Reverend Rumblefish 4

I'll do international deals - PM me for shipping and details. For trades I'd consider 2-for-1, cash in, cash out, let me know what you've got and what your are thinking deal-wise

I'm not a huge green fan and I like this one a lot. I think I've come to the conclusion that I like the trans G&L finishes over ash (or quilt) best, I was gonna say I've never met one I didn't like but I did have a trans white JB2 that didn't do much for me.

I'd trade the green L2K body for an equally nice 3-bolt SB2 body -- mutts can be the best dogs.

if I'm reading my dates right on my files these pics are of the Trib JB2 before I swapped the necks - so it's what it would look like if I swapped them back.

Free bump for a beautiful SB-2. That is one of my FAVORITE color combos. Black, no-dot maple board, and matching headstock. Almost tempts me to sell my Geddy P.

JB2 body off hold - so L2K necked JB2 fully available

still thinking about whether to give up the JB2 necked L2K . . .

Well I've got a wild hair on the direction to go next so I'm ready to try some price drops on the fretteds - at least as long as my next target is still available:

black/maple SB2: $799

burst/maple Trib JB2 (original config): $365
natural/rw Trib L2K (original config): $365

burst Trib JB2 body/rw Trib L2K neck (wide neck JB2): $325

I won't sell the Trib L2K body w/Trib JB2 neck unless the JB2 body/L2K neck combo goes first.

Dammit. I thought my bass GAS was over. Why do I come to this thread, and see the black/maple SB-2? Love it.

OK, as I pack up the SB2 I realize I'm out of boxes. I think that means time to lock it down for now. I'm sure I'll have another churnapalooza in the future if the past is any guide.
