FS/T: Lakland Skyline 55-02 Deluxe Cherryburst/maple

For Sale or Trade. This bass is an 09 model with the full Plek treatment. My scale lists it at 8.7 pounds! I am the first and only owner. There isn't a scratch or ding on it. There are some typical swirlies in the finish in the usual places.

Features Lakland pickups and electronics. This bass sounds and plays like a dream and will make someone extremely happy. I've owned 3 of these and this one is my favorite, but I have my eye on another.

Pictures below taken with my iPhone. The Cherry color is very accurate around the edge and on he rear, but the center color in this pic is a bit off. It's too reddish there. The center is more of an amber color so that there's a big contrast in the two tones. It looks better in person of course.

This is a great price on a great bass with very cool looking deluxe quilted top.

When I was in Orlando, FL a week ago, Sam Ash had two on the wall, one with Rosewood, the other with Maple for $1,500.00 ea.

Jason is a stand up guy too!

Great bass. I had one like this and was hoping to make it "my" bass. Alas, the 35" scale just didn't work for me. I think I've finally learned my lesson. Anyway...

wish I had not as this is a really cool bass!!!! the 55-02 has ALOT of tone variability and a great feel!

Cherry burst is my second favorite Skyline color (right behind Amber!)

I agree with the Cherry Burst color! Very appealing in person - camera simply do not do this color justice...

How is it this bass is still here?!!! Luke new condition, great TBr/LOGr, and savings of Bones off of the price. Checkout 2nd post above. 'nuff said!

No, I didn't buy it with one. I do have all the factory packing materials, so it'll be double boxed, padded, etc. when it ships.

This is a DELUXE 55-02, folks, with one of Lakland's traditional flagship finishes, weighing around 9 lbs, that is less than a year old from date of purchase. Don't make me put it on Ebay!
