For sale is my Skyline LOG P5. These were limited run basses. I believe they made 30 total, and this is one of them. Translucent Butterscotch finish, maple neck with black block. The pickup is a Nordstrand P5, which I would describe as vintage but with a bit more clarity and less wooly mids. Simple volume and tone control. It sounds wonderful in every respect! The fretwork on this one is particularly fantastic. No buzzing at all, so you can lower the strings down very far if you like it that way, or take the more traditional P bass approach so you can thump on it without buzzing.
This is my first, and likely last, P5. I'm not really a Precision player at all, and really just went for this because I thought it would use it more. I've found that I'd rather just have a 4 string for a Precision bass, and use my Jazz instruments when I need five strings.
