FS/T: NAMM 2010 Nordstrand VJ5 Modern in Alder/ Brazilian Rosewood, 60's style.
I know I will regret selling this bass but GAS has gotten me. It's an excellent 60's jazz vibe. It can be run in passive mode for a vintage sound or engage the preamp for a really HUGE modern sound.

- amber tinted alder with killer quilted maple top (upgrade)
- gorgeous Brazilian rosewood Board (also an upgrade)
- maple neck with a hint of birdseye on neck and headstock

Bass plays like butter, low action, frets are great, neck true, balances perfectly. The neck is a delight, one of the most comfortable jazz necks out there. The pickguard has slap scratches and swirlies on it. The only cosmetic issues on the bass are a small ding on the back and 2 small marks at upper bout edge that are in the finish laquer only. This is not in the wood. There are also very small zipper marks at the top of the headstock, very minor and not very noticeable. Besides the one small ding pictured on the back, the other marks mentioned here are not noticeable. See bottom pic for the ding on back. Please excuse the fingerprints.
