FS/T Sadowsky Will Lee NYC

Sign in to disble this ad
I received two Will Lee's recently with nearly identical specs. These two basses are hands down the finest basses I have ever played. It's like they took my favorite bass (my Sadowsky NYC) and improved on it.

I realize, however that I don't need two nearly identical basses, so one of them is going up for sale.

This bass is in great shape (still has the plastic guard on it). The black has some sparkle to it - it looks really nice in person. Comes with non-original HSC or gig bag. Again, I love this bass, the ONLY reason that I am selling is because I don't need two of them - that, and I have bills to pay!!!!

FINISH | Black Pearl
BODY | Swamp Ash
FINGERBOARD | Maple, 22 Frets, 12" Radius, 1.45" Nut Width
PICKGUARD | Black Pearl
HARDWARE | Chrome with D-Tuner
PICKUPS | Sadowsky HC's
WEIGHT | 7.75 lbs. (3.52 kg)
PREAMP | Sadowsky Preamp with Vintage Tone Control and Mid-Boost Circuit

For sale for $3500 plus shipping. International is fine, but payment must clear before shipping.

I am a bit selective in trades - I would consider the following, plus cash -

High end fretless 4 and 5 strings (especially interested in F Basses)
High end Rosewood/Alder 4 string Jazz-type basses (think Sadowsky or Fender Custom shop). If only someone had a Candy Apple Red Will Lee rosewood/alder for trade ...

Otherwise I am open to offers; however, I prefer Jazz type basses, and I am pretty set for 5 string fretted and 6 string basses in general, but the worst I could say is no!

Local pickup in Seattle is fine. More pics tomorrow!

Bump for my old bass! The finish is actually quite nice, but really hard to photograph.

This one plays and sounds exactly how a Sadowsky should sound.

Killer bass here!... and a good guy to deal with

I have a black pearl/rosewood Sadowsky Vintage 4 in mint condition. I'm pretty sure the body is alder, but would need to check to be sure.
