Up for sale or trade is my US made Bob Glaub 64-burst PJ:
Fralin precision and split/humbucking jazz pick up in the bridge
.047 cap
34" scale
1.75" at the nut
9 lbs.
Cream-colored Lakland OHS case included with the allen wrenches
Factory routed for a 9V battery if you wanted to add a preamp. It is set up as completely passive.
I do not have the ashtray pick up cover but it is drilled for one.
It is in very good condition with some swirling and minor indentations. Nothing major. Some show up better than others in the pictures below. There is a chip in the nut under the E string but it's perfectly solid and holds the string securely.
I've recently shielded/grounded the control cavity, pickguard, and pick up cavities. This bass is dead silent in even the worst electromagnetic situations live and in studio.
Sounds and plays amazing. Selling/trading to free up some cash and increase my bass count with some different options.
Looking for $1850 shipped to the 48 states OBRO
Trade interests 4-string only with great set up and playability:
Lakland Skylines
Roscoe Beck 4
Fender 08 or sooner American standards
Higher end raditional-type passive basses
Passive jazzes with maple/ash set ups
70's-style pick up placement jazzes
Musicman SR4's with maple boards
Rics
A Mesa Walkabout head is the only amp interest I have right now.
All plus cash
I'm open to offers, multiple bass deals for this one, bass/basses +cash deals, Paypal is cool but I'm really only interested in traditional looking/sounding basses and definitely prefer passive basses except for traditional basses that come active stock as noted above.
PM me with questions and offers...
