I'm listing three outstanding basses for sale. No issues with any of them - just decided that with the recent addition of a Sadowsky I want to stop hoarding. While I prefer an outright sale, at the end of the description I will list my limited trade interests.
Bass #1: 1983 Pre-Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray (2 band EQ) - This bass is in great condition, has a serial number that begins with "B0" (designates this as a genuine pre-EB), somewhat rare trans red body and maple board, bridge with foam mutes intact and includes an original pre- EB corduroy case. There is a little pea-sized chip in the finish on the body behind the neck. Any other marks are very minor. This bass is truly in great condition. The case shows wear on the outside but is in great condition inside. Electronics and truss rod work fine, and the 2-band EQ is sought after by many players. Weighs 9.6 lbs. on a bathroom scale. When I bought this bass a few months ago, I had planned to put it in the closet for a few years and see how the value goes up. I haven't had it out of my home at all (smoke-free). Asking $1,975 shipped to CONUS.

This has the pre-lawsuit headstock, ash body, rosewood board, birds-eye maple neck and original hard shell case. The bass has a new bone nut and the frets have been dressed and crowned. Included with the bass will be the owner's manual and the original inspection tag signed by Leo Fender himself. Bass weighs 10.5 lbs. on the bathroom scale. I just put new LaBella Deep Talkin' flats on it, and I'll include the roundwounds that were on it when I got the bass. This bass is incredible sounding - strong output across all strings and a huge sound, especially when you put the toggle on turbo. Asking $975 shipped to CONUS.
GL L-1000 pictures by rbeckman47 - Photobucket Bass #3: Fender '62 Reissue Jazz Bass - SOLD. Crafted in Japan approximately 2001, old Candy Apple Red finish with rosewood board, vintage thin frets, Gotoh bridge, replacement control plate and tone pot, flatwound strings, Fender padded gig bag. Weighs 9 lbs. on a bathroom scale. This bass has a terrific feel and sound. I really struggle parting with this one - it just feels like home. Asking $650 shipped to CONUS.

As for any trade interest, I would consider a Fender P bass, preferably an American vintage '57 reissue (a Fullerton reissue would be ideal). Other than that, I might consider a 4-string fretless (unlined). You can run things by me, but I will most likely be pretty picky. Cash can go either way to even things out if there is a trade.
