FS Tobias Basic 6

Excellent condition Tobias Basic 6. I would trade for a excellent 75 jazz bass. $1400 shipped.
This is pristine Gibson made in the USA.

Where? GAS is a horrible thing to have . Especially seeing how I just added 3 new basses, 1 of them being a Modulus Quantum 6, to my arsenal in the past couple of weeks. This has caught my attention so I am praying I don't want this bass after I see pics

Would someone please buy this because I just can't take it. If I buy anything else this month, Mrs. Zoomie will have me sleeping on the couch.

If you can't get people shaking their butts with grooves played on this thing, you need to throw all your crap in the dumpster and take up the Tuba.

I miss my Classic. I am going to go pout now and maybe even hold my breath and stomp my foot. That's right........... I'm going to go throw a full-on bass buying tantrum.

Why two simultaneous threads selling the same bass?

Can you characterize the B string on this thing? String spacing? How does this particular bass stack up against the pre-Gibson Tobias basses?

Gracias!

I had computer problems, hence the duplicate thread.
The Gibson Tobiases are extremely well made, as one would expect with that name. The spacing is 19mm I believe, a sound advantage withe Gibson is the slap contour switch. although they are no longer handmade like the pre gibsons.

Thanks for the answers and for clarifying about the duplicate threads. Perhaps, if it hasn't been done already, the other thread could be closed and information, pics, etc. consolidated here.

Cheers,
Mark
