These Growlers have to be one of the sweetest basses ever made. Capable of so many sounds thanks to the dual pups in one enclosure. Growlers essentially have two preamps. One for each pickup and you can blend the two.

I love mine. One if the fastest and easiest playing necks.

I think I'm going to start a Growler Fan Club here on TB.

As someone who has always lusted after a Tobias Growler but has never actually played one, how would you describe the tone? I am reading it is humbucking so it is not really a single coil sound, more like a Music Man?

Not really like a Musicman. More warm and funky. More modern sounding I think. Punchy or fat. Round bottom end.

Bump for a KILLIN bass! I cannot recommend these enough. I've had two ( just bought my 2nd after selling my first a few years ago)...They have gobs of different sounds but the best is both switches down for the mid scoop and oh so punchy. Love Love love my Growler....

+1 on starting a growler club!

Good luck with the sale...somebody grab this bad boy..you will not be disappointed.
