FS: Tokai Jazz bass w/MIJ 62 neck

Sign in to disble this ad
Here's the rundown on this one--

- Tokai jazz body from the 80s, nice thin finish with wear
- aftermarket bridge (installed before me, don't know origin)
- original pickups with upgraded pots and jack
- control cavity shielded and slightly routed to fit battery at one point (you can't see it with control plate)
- original neckplate

- MIJ Fender 62RI neck (finish sanded off on the back)
- MIA 62RI reverse tuners

Alternatively, I can reinstall the original Tokai fretless neck which is in fine shape.

$450 w/either neck shipped continental US? No trades please.

That a Schaller bridge... Nice looking bass. Got any pix of the original neck?

Thanks! I will post pics of the fretless neck later tonight.

Ugh, in rereading my post I realized I messed up while going back and forth on how to sell this. The sell price should be either neck. Will edit the post.

Alternate original fretless neck

Here's the original fretless neck which I can reinstall if buyer prefers. Sorry, it's not the best quality photos.

I got a question about the condition of the board, so here are a couple more photos. There's roundwound impression on it, but it's not deep. As I run my hand along the board, it's pretty smooth.
