Hello all,
Looking to thin the herd to the basses I use most often, and as it turns out, I'm a pretty rotten fretless player, and since I have two of them, one needs to go.
This is an early Dean Edge, made in Korea, and I think is from around '99 (different headstock than the newer ones)
Nice variety of tones available from the pretty decent stock onboard preamp, and the control cavity is tidily wired, which is more than I can say of some other much more expensive basses. Nice playing fretless 5, with a lined fingerboard. Recently setup, with good intonation and nice low action.
The bass is exceptionally clean, with no major dings or scratches... It has been gigged only a handful of times over the years I've owned it (since 2001~)
Trans-black, which takes on a purple-ish cast under the right light.
No case, but will be double boxed and packed well.
Looking for a cheap 4 string Jazz, such as a MIM, or SX or the like...what do you have?
$299 shipped in the CONUS.
Thanks,
Ross
