FS Tuxedo Reverend Rumblefish 4 string w/ case

Bass is in great condition. 2 flaws. One small ding (see close up pic below), and a small crack near the neck joint (super glue repaired by my guitar tech, and completely unmoving). I had to take 6 pics of it to get it to be visible (see pic below) Other than that, the bass is in great condition.

The case is a little banged up. Post any questions you have below. No trades, sorry.

I'm so glad that's not a PJ, otherwise I would be scrambling for cash!

I'm guessing this won't be here long.

Mine was #0097 and came in right at 8, maybe a touch less.

Bump for a KILLER bass!

Like 45cmckay105 said, not at all. I don't own a scale, so I can't weight it for you, but it is a very light bass.

I had to sell my Warwick Corvette Standard because it weighed 7.8 lbs and it was too heavy for my shoulder and neck on a 4 hour gig

My PJ is the lightest instrument I own. Not sure of the weight but it's really light.

You're gonna be hard pressed to find a commercial instrument lighter than 7.8 lbs. my suggestion would be to play from a seated position, Try one of these http://www.comfortstrapp.com/, get one of these http://www.barkerbass.com/, or start playing piccolo

Reverends are hollow and have super thin necks, but yeah, I don't know the weight. You might want to ask on the Reverend owner's thread here: The Reverend Club (part 6)

(Have you considered getting a steinberger bass?)

On a serious note, do you tense up your shoulders when you play? You can build up a lot of tension over 4 hours. What kind of strap did you use?

These are amazing basses. I got to play fellow TB'er (and coworker of sorts) Petch's of this similar configuration and it's just breathtaking how fantastic and unique these sound, especially live!

Light, great neck, and tone that just bursts through.

When a Reverend lasts this long on the TB listings, you know the economy is really bad.

Let me explain myself......
3 whiplashes, really bad back and neck
3 of my basses are custom made and weigh approx. 6.2 lbs each
I have to have Short Scale basses only (small hands)
Reverends are 34"....though I'd love a SS Reverend, Steinbergers are 34".....
Frankly don't have that many choices when you have to have a 30" so I've had to have custom builds (expensive) but I can play....that's the only way
Thanks for the references..........I'll check out Barker and see if they have SS

ps. I have neotech straps
