Currently, I have four Peavey Millenniums ... and I have a fifth one on the way. So, I'm going to put two of my Peaveys up for sale. After one of them sells, I'll close this thread.
1. Peavey Millennium 4 string - in gold metal flake - with case!
$200 delivered to your door!
Without the case, I'd take $150 for the bass. However, I'd prefer to ship it in a case.
I received this bass without a case, and one of the tuners was broken. I replaced it with a Carvin - the only way you can tell is looking at the tuner up close on the back of headstock.
Due to age, some dings on the body, some paint missing from hardware. However, I love how this bass plays - plays like butter. It is the reason I now own five of these basses. I bought this bass on a lark, and I found "my bass." I just can't resist when a nicer looking one comes along. Also, I enjoy polishing the frets, setting up the necks, etc. They fit my hands perfectly. Anyway, at $200 - delivered - this is a steal.
2. Peavey Millennium 4 string in see-thru blue with goreous top and case - $550 delivered. Yeah, I realize that this may seem a bit high. But for how it plays, sounds, and looks with the new Will Lee strings, it is a steal. I would prefer to sell the gold one. I haven't seen many of these blue ones. The blue is fairly dark - you need a reasonable amount of light to see through to the maple top.
There is a scratch on the upper horn that can only be seen up close. Due to my sanding and applying several coats of tung oil, the neck is super fast. There is one ding on the bottom of the bass, on the back, that is through the finish.
There is some black missing from the Hipshot hardware (tuners and bridge - great hardware!); I didn't bump the hardware so don't blame me!
I'm at work at this time, so I'll check the bass when I get home. Also, I'll post pictures later if there is any interest.
Thanks!
