I'm a Precision Bass kind of guy, trying to raise funds for a vintage P, and this bass rarely gets played so here it is. In all honesty, I bought the bass brand new, installed all the upgrades, and would be lucky if I played it more than 1 hour. The bass is in almost mint condition (I say mint in case there are swirls on the pickguard or something) and the body is 2 piece with a really nice grain pattern some nice flame showing on the back of it. I've posted pictures of this bass here on TGP and have received many PM's complimenting the look and overall assembly of the bass.
Here's the run down:
- Fender Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass
- Headstock logos gently sanded off the front and back, 70's Fender waterslide applied to front, clear coated over several times, looks great
- Older Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups installed, covers show wear, pickups sound amazing
- Leo Quan chrome BadAss II bring installed
- Fender USA Jazz Bass knobs installed
The bass itself was $300 new, pickups were $75, BadAss II bridge was $60, knobs were $10, waterslide was $20 ($465 total).
I'll let this go for
$300 shipped to the lower 48 states. Well worth the price. Snag it up!
