This is a very nice US made Fender Deluxe 5 String Precision Bass that I recently acquired in a trade. I don't know what year it was made but maybe one of you Fender experts can tell me.
It's in great shape with only minor wear from being played and I can certainly understand why. This bass has a "big bad" voice. I had never played one of these before and I'm astounded how much low end this baby can produce. It retains the classic P-Bass tone but it's really like a P-Bass on steroids. Once again I'm not an expert on these but the controls appear to be Volume, Blend, Stacked Treble/Bass and Master Tone.
There are no issues with this bass that I can find. The neck is straight and the truss rod works as it should. I'd love to keep it but my current financial situation is such that I can't.
So I'm offering it up for what I feel is a very good price for one of these. It includes the original HSC also in good shape.
