Selling a 2006 model Fender Jazz Bass, Made in America.
If I were a jazz bass player, I would never sell this bass, but I've found my muse in the Jack Casady tone, so I'll not likely give this bass its due playing time.
This is such a nice bass with such beautiful construction and quality, that I debated hanging on to it just to collect it, but I can't justify yet another great bass that sits un-played.
Candy Cola color. No chips, rash, etc. There are a few small nicks in the end of the headstock, which were tough to photograph, but that's all that's less than perfect with this bass. Fantastic condition. All original except for the pickup cover. Really low action. The neck is very comfortable, perhaps the nicest jazz-style neck I've played.
This is a beautiful bass that plays exceptionally well and has top-notch build quality. Has the S-1 switch, which gives the already versatile jazz a helping of the p-bass thunder with the push of a button.
Comes with HSC. Currently strung with DR Sunbeams (very low mileage). I have a set of Schaller strap buttons as well as the Fender-style. You can have both.
