FS: US G&L L2000 Cherry Burst, Maple, GOT

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

$950, shipped to the CONUS.

Made in USA, G&L L-2000. Cherry Burst with maple fretboard. The neck has a 1.5" nut, the Gun Oil Tint option, and the fret markers are not just plain black. They look mother-of-pearlish.

Weight is approximately 9.4 pounds.

Will ship in the OHSC (original hard shell case).

This was recently setup by my tech at the same time I had him install a brand new neck pickup. The original pickup had developed one bad coil. It is in the plastic bag that is shown in the pic of the HSC. I was quoted $65 by Lindy Fralin to repair the bad pickup. I just haven't gotten around to sending it in. The buyer gets the extra (bad) pickup, too. If I were keeping the bass, I would get it fixed and just keep it as a spare. G&L sells new pickups for $120 and they are a pain to get hold of.

ps. I'm open to trades, but I'd only be interested in:

(all in some variation of either black or red or some kind of burst based on one or both of those colors - with maple or ebony board)

- Peavey B-Quad 5 (magenta)
- US G&L SB-1 or SB-2
- Sadowsky PJ5 or HPJ5
- Other Made in USA basses that are 5 or 6 string. Nothing low-end, though.

I have the exact same bass color and everything and let me tell you this is GREAT bass, as much as I've tried other basses(P Bass,Jazz, Ric, Stingray, Sterling) nothing can compare to it, so my L2000 remains my #1....

I'm not sure of the year. I just know it's '98 or later, because that's when they switched to the 6-bolt neck.
