FS: US Lakland 4-94 P-J "One Of A Kind"

I recently acquired this beautiful bass from "willsellout" however I just came across another instrument that I have been "GASing" for so I'd like to pass this one on if possible.

It's a 2006 US made custom 4-94 with a one of a kind P/J pickups configuration. GREAT Jazz and P-Bass tones can be generated from this baby. The controls are Vol, Blend, Mid and a stacked Treble/Bass.

The body is finished in georgous Shoreline Gold with only one ding (see photos) that could easily be touched up if desired. Otherwise it's in perfect condition.

The neck has a beautiful, highly figured, maple board and it also has a drop D tuner that works perfectly.

The is a really nice bass with a very fast neck and great tone. Because of it's unique pickup configuration it's both collectable as well as very playable.

SOLD

It will ship in either a brand new Lakland Skyline molded HSC or a very nice beige color vintage style case. Buyer's choice!

I really need a cash sale on this one so please, NO TRADES for the time being.

PM me with any questions at all. I am motivated to move this bass as soon as possible. If I don't get any serious interest it's off to EBay on Monday.

Bump for a beautiful "Golden Girl" at an exceptional price!

I will now include the more expensive beige color vintage case at no extra charge.

Unless, of course, you prefer the black molded Lakland case.

If anyone is on the fence..go ahead, do yourself a favor and pick this one up. It is unlike any bass (Lakland) included that I've ever played. I didn't care for the neck width (the skinnier the better for me) otherwise this would still be mine.

I should also mention it's extremely light and of course very comfortable to play.

What is the neck width? Is it a standard Lakland neck? If so I am interested....

Peace,

T

The neck width at the nut is 1 9/16". At the 12th fret it's 2 1/8". It's a very fast and easy to play neck IMO. Great low action as well. But that's what you would expect from a US made Lakland.
