Previous owner was told this is the bass used for the sound samples on Lakland's site for the Hollowbody model. Selling to fund a very expensive upright purchase.

This price is firm, I really don't want to sell this bass, but I won't be able to use it too much during the next two years of my PhD, but will have one again!

I got a good, close look at this bass before Markus bought it. It's freakin' beautiful.

Beautiful bass!!! Anyone have any input on how the Chi's differ from Barts tonally in the HB?

It's transparent burgundy over flame maple over a top. ChiSonics are hotter, and thicker, with a very clear top. Killer bass tonally, and visually!

Neither actually - it's transparent burgundy so you see the wood grain under the color. Compared to the Fender color wheel, it's similar to that late 70s/early 80s color, Wine Red.

I owned this bass pre Markus and had a blast doing all the Lakland sound clips with it. Wonderful instrument. So resonant and toneful. At the time, I had a Skyline HB that I loved so I passed the bass along to Markus.

Someone's going to LOVE this bass.
