FS: USA Peavey Foundation 1984 w Supper Ferrite PUs and case PRICED TO SELL!!!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is an old school USA Peavey Foundation bass from 1984 featuring the notorious Peavey Super Ferrite pickups and metallic knobs with the P logo. The finish is subtle Metallic red and the neck is maple. Very stunning bass.

These basses are just incredible. Lots of gusto (think double humbucker old school Gibson) but with the flexibility of a J bass.

THIS BASS INCLUDES A CHIPBOARD CASE AND IS PRICED TO SELL AT $175 SHIPPED CONUS, FIRM!!!!!!

Overall this bass is a great looker. I would love to call it a 9.5/10 as the pictures suggest but I cannot. Why not? First, it is missing the truss rod cover. No biggie-- chandler has replacements for $10 (Sarzo and Unity truss rod cover is how it is listed on their site-- these were standard issue Peavy rod covers back in the day). Also, some very subtle but also ample compression dings about pencil sized on the body top, back plus and neck the occasional superficial scratch as pictured. These types of things are very subjective and as you can see they do not appear to they easily in photos or to the naked eye, but nonetheless they are there, so I would call this a 7.5-8/10 accordingly because I am strict like that.

I accept paypal no problem. No trades on this and price is firm. This is a great deal on an old school USA Foundation cuz I want to sell it quick.

Thanks and enjoy the pics.

RBM

No you can't!
Oh wait, though... you could be buying it from Roger and have a great seller offering it up.

US made, priced silly low, AND a great guy to deal with?!?! That deserves a bump!

I'd buy it, but I own two already. It's a steal. You won't regret it.

Bump. Had a sale but it fell through. This is a great price. $175 shipped for a real vintage peavey with super ferrite pickups and a case. Let's get this a new home.

I just don't get it. This bass plays and sounds better than a Fender - If this were a 1984 Fender it would be $1000 ... How is this bass still here ????
