FS: Valenti #079 - Incredible Redwood Top!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Due to unforseen house repair and pet bills, this one is back on the block

This has got to be the most stunning Valenti I have ever seen or played (and I've played a LOT). I received this in a trade a few months ago and had Nino give her the once-over, including a clear guard, fret work, and a setup. This thing plays like buttah!

Valenti #079
================
Alder Body w/Quilted Redwood top
Natural Finish
Graphite reinforced Wenge Neck
Wenge fretboard
1 1/2" @ Nut
Sadowsky Preamp w/VTC
Nordstrand Big Single pickups
34" Scale
10" fretboard radius
Clear Pickguard - Original Tort Pickguard is included.
Chrome Hardware
HipShot HB-1 Tuning Gears - with D-Tuner
Straplocks
Contoured heel for easier access to the upper frets
8.5 lbs!

Gig video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqh2s48upT8

Whoever gets this bass will NOT be disappointed.

$1,750 shipped within the US.

Here are the pics...

I guess I'll listen to trade offers, but a major portion of it has to be cash. If I didn't need the cash, I'd definitely be keeping it.

Wow, AJ... those looks, that price, a Sadowsky preamp and Nordstrand big singles... I'm sorry you have to let go of this.

I LOVED that clip by the way. Great playing and great sound. Nice to see the TC in action too.

When you step on a pedal before the bridge, is that the TC pedal controlling the head? What change did you engage if I may ask.

Hey Tom. Do you mean before the solo? I use a VT Bass for some extra sparkle.

Yeah, there. So that's a Tech 21 VT Bass SansAmp Character Series Bass Pedal? Sounds great but rats, I was hoping you were just flipping to a different preset on the TC RH450.

I might have been able to duplicate it using a separate channel using EQ and the TubeTone, but I had the other two memory slots set up for other basses.
