FS: Very Nice Carvin SB5000! Flamed Top & headstock with OHSC!

I just got this bass in a trade but I knew that I was gonna need to move it. I recently moved to Arkansas and although I found a job, I'm not making near what I should be yet because I don't have my counselor's license which will take another 2-3 months to get. On top of that, I'm not actively playing anywhere so there's no sense in having a ton of basses lying around when I could use the cash.

The bass is in really good shape. I would say mint or near mint, but I don't like to throw those terms around a lot. It is very clean. No major dings or dents that I can find. No rash anywhere on it. The bass is nice.

The bass plays really well and sounds great. If you wanna check out some of the tones this baby will produce check these video's out:

Carvin Microbass12 and SB5000 demo w/Chris Buck - YouTube

Carvin SB5000 - YouTube

Carvin - Sean Michael Ray SB5000 interview - YouTube

Carvin - Tom Barney SB5000 bass interview - YouTube

Carvin - Bon Jovi's Hugh McDonald interview - SB5000 bass - YouTube

Nathaniel Kearney Jr Carvin SB5000 interview - YouTube

Carvin Micro Bass Amp series demo - YouTube

Pics:

The Specs are:
Alder body
Flamed Maple top/Headstock
5 PC Neck (Maple/Walnut)
Satin Finish back of Neck
Icon Headstock
Stainless Steel Frets
Black Chrome hardware
Vol-Vol-Tone-Bass-Treble
Black Carvin Logo
No Pickguard on Bass
Ivory Graph Tech Tusq Nut
Straplocks By Dunlop Installed

This would cost over $1400 new! My price: $850.00 Shipped OBO.

Counselors license huh? Looks like your impact bias isn't working too hard on you about selling this bass

Good deal, these are highly underrated basses!

Why does it have a different headstock than the present SB5000's?
Is it custom?

You can order them with whatever Carvin headstock shape you want. Definitely custom.

That is really nice. Tempting, even.

I had no idea it would take 3 months or so to get licensed here.
