I had the 4 banger version of this as my first bass. I replaced the P/Us with EMG's and I loved it. Lightweight, ergonomically comfortable.

Thanks for your response! Yah, this bass is a nice weight and feels great!

I'm only selling because I need the money and I do have a 5 string P bass that will do for now, though it is quite a bit heavier! Like
almost 11 pounds heavy. I haven't gotten the chance to weigh this Bass Collections bass, but I'd bet it is about 8 pounds total.

All of the upgrades I have done make this bass a monster of a player and sounds absolutely fabulous! They cost me about $700!

Back in the late eighties when this bass was purchased, they sold for around $1600.
