Surprisingly, the bass feels really light! I heard horror stories about how heavy these things can be! I don't have a precise scale, but I weighed it on my bathroom scale. Its under 9 lbs according to my scale. Although a bathroom scale, its pretty accurate w/ my body weight. I find this very interesting since this is not the chambered version of the bass. Really light if you ask me. Thanx for asking.

Wow, that's a beauty! I like the standard Carvin headstock so much better than the goofy looking (to me, anyway) SB headstock. Wish I had the funds for this!
