This is a beauty. The pickups alone must have cost a small fortune.

I've got a similar Gecko fretless (alder body/quilt maple top/ebony finger board/Bart 3-band/Bart CB P/U's) and these are great sounding and playing fretless basses. Plenty of mwah and growl!
IMO you won't get a better playing, sounding & looking fretless at this price. Just the parts on this bass would be around $1200-1300.
Good luck with the sale! |

The lower 3 are treble cut/boost, mid cut/boost and bass cut/boost. All 3 are notched in the middle for flat response.
In addition, there is a trim capacitor in the electronics cavity that adjusts the frequency of the mid cut/boost control. I know some people add another knob on the top of the bass for this, but I thought 5 knobs was enough, and this is something I would seldom (if ever) use |

| | | | I don't play fretless, but just the Alembic pickups would cost $400--$500 dollars!!!! You never see them except occasionally in a p-j config on a modded or custom instrument..........This one looks like a $2000 plus bass............. |
