Jazz Bass, built in 2006 using the following:
· Warmoth Jazz Bass body (Alder wood, Metallic Lake Placid Blue finish)
· Status-Graphite carbon fiber Jazz Bass neck
· Neck joint done with EZ-Lok stainless steel threaded inserts, and stainless steel 10-24 machine screws
· DiMarzio Model J pickups wired such that the neck is in parallel, and the bridge is in series (each pickup is a side-by-side humbucker to allow for this)
· Gotoh 206 bridge (allows for string-thru, or top-load operation)
· Schaller Straplocks
· Includes a Fender hardshell bass case, which was originally purchased in 2002 for a different bass. The case has seen better days, but is perfectly functional.

There are a couple of small dings, which can be seen here:
The bass is in great shape, and sounds wonderful. The DiMarzio’s in their current wiring setup, have a very clear, modern tone that sounds great in a band mix. I’ve used this bass in metal, rock, pop, and country acts, and it’s always worked well. This was my main bass from 2006-2009. After 2009, it has seen limited use, and primarily serves as a backup bass. My needs have shifted from live gigging to more studio/session work, and I could use the funds from this sale to make a few purchases that I need on that side of things.
The parts alone cost just shy of $1,600 back in 2006. I’m looking for $1,000. This bass will blow away any American Standard Fender currently in production, and will do it for about $200 less! Local sales would be the easiest to orchestrate, but I'm willing to ship this anywhere provided the buyer covers all shipping costs. I'm located in Seattle, Washington (98116). Paypal or money order are preferred.
