O.K. I took this bass in on trade and have thoroughly enjoyed playing it. However, as many of the basses I take in on trade, I play them a while, I freshen them up, I make sure they are sound, I do a little fret work and make sure it plays well, then I sell them.
You can get all the specs here: Warwick Corvette $$ Double Buck 5-String Bass Guitar: Shop Bass & Other Musical Instruments | Musician's Friend
Here is a pic:
there is a small ding on the body. It does not effect anything, it's just cosmetic. See all the pics here: Warwick Corvette pictures by syco_bass - Photobucket
I'm asking $1,000 shipped to CONUS. Includes a Road Runner rigid gig bag. International/over seas shipping O.K. just ask for shipping quote.
Thanks. |

I'd love to try this $$ but do they sound like most Warwick Corvettes? I mean, I've had at least 10 German Wicks, mostly Corvette and my fav of all time was the BEAD-Taranis! Wish I never sold it!! |

I'm not sure how to answer your question. I don't know what most other corvette's sound like. I can tell you that this is one of the most versitile basses I've every played.
You can get Jazz, P, MM tones and everything in between. The mini toggle switches allows you to select from Single coil, Perallel, and serries modes. The pre-amp allows for pickup selecting by way of a blend knob and you can also go from active to passive with the Push/Pull Volume knob. The treble knob then acts as a passive tone knob.
Like I said, very, very versitile. Let me know if you want to give it a try.
Peace. |

Peace. | Rob's description is VERY accurate. I've played several Warwicks as well. Thumbs, Vettes, Infinities, and Streamers.
The $$ is one of the MOST versatile basses that you will ever hold. It seriously can do it all. The $$ pickup config is my favorite that Warwick offers.

| | | | BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! this exact bass (finish y todos) has been my main player for the past 4+ years. and it's crazy how you can make this one sound like them all. and that musicians friend price is the MSRP, i think they were normally going for around $1800 from most big retailers. |

If it gets more traffic because it looks like it's priced that way, so be it.
Anyway, I got a lot of interest for trades so farm, but this time of year cash is king.
I'll open it up to offers. I'll do partial trades, but not a full out trade. No reasonable offer refused, but let's be resonable folks. O.K. ?
Trade bait:
4 and 5 string projects, bodies necks- Fender or EBMM specs.
PM if you are interested. |

| | | | Hey i'm interested, and will buy it asap with the frills added. I play in a an all girl group soul band called The Vallures (i'm the bearded lady). We just gigged up in chicago and had everything stolen out of our van. My exact same type warwick was pilfered along with my whole rig. I've been mourning, (and borrowing equipment) ever since. So i'm down how do you wanna go about this? |
