FS: Warwick Corvette Double Buck $$

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is my Warwick Corvette Double buck ($$) 4 string bass. It's a really fantastic bass, but I have to get rid of it for financial reasons.

Fantastic grain in the Swamp Ash body. Incredibly versatile tone. Successfully cops Jazz, P, Stingray tones, as well a many of its own. Each humbucker has coil taps for single, series, or parallel. Bridge pickup is in the much vaunted MM position.

Warwick Straplocks included. Weight is around 8.5 lbs. Bass does not require waxing.

Warwicks specs are as follows:

US Swamp Ash body
Ovangkol neck
Wenge fingerboard
Scale length: 34" (long scale)
24 frets
Passive MEC MM-Style humbuckers with open pole pieces and coil-switching for each pickup: serial, parallel and as single coil
Active MEC 2-way electronics
Two 3-way mini-switches for separate configuration of the humbuckers (serial / parallel / single-coil)
Warwick tuners
2-piece Warwick bridge
Warwick security locks
Just-A-Nut III

It's Nirvana Black, and the wood grain looks great on it. It gets compliments at shows quite often.

Small shallow ding on the edge of the headstock

Small white mark at the bottom of the front of body, just below and to the right of the bridge.

$900 shipped CONUSA

Sorry, no soundbytes of it. This bass is capable of so many sounds, it would take forever to show all of them, lol.

It weighs in around 8.5 lbs. Selling this bass is a tough decision for me to make; the more I look at these pictures, the less I want to sell this bass.

If this bass doesn't sell in the next few days, I would consider shipping to the UK for the cost of shipping. I've got a couple others interested in it here though, so I'll let them decide first, and if they decide against it, I'll let you know.
