Warwick Corvette Standard Fretless Bass

$600 Shipped (firm)

This is an '04 Warwick Corvette Standard Fretless. This is in excellent condition and has just been set up by a pro. It plays like butter with low action and no buzzing. And, it comes with the Warwick truss rod tool (very hard to come by when buying used Warwicks), allen wrenches, and some Warwick finish wax I no longer have any need for.

This bass is in great condition. No major dings or scratches. The fretboard has virtually no wear on it. Actually, in my opinion it has no wear on it. You can see some marks on the board from roundwound strings touching it, but I wouldn't call that wear. The only flaw is a small spot (see the picture) on the plastic that lines the control cavity that was melted by a soldering iron. I tried some different pickups a year or so ago and the iron slipped in my hand while I was soldering them in. The original pickups have been put back in as I didn't care for the replacement pickups.

This is the best fretless you can buy for this amount of money by far! The only reason I'm getting rid of it is that I just never could get all that interested in fretless playing. I barely played it at all and I know the original owner (who I bought it from) hardly played it either.

Specs:
  • Passive electronics (Volume, volume, tone)
  • Bubinga body
  • Ovankol neck
  • 34" scale
  • Ebony unlined fretboard
  • MEC passive pickups
  • Comes with truss rod tool, allen wrenches, and finish wax (not full containers)
  • Comes with a nearly new inexpensive gig bag (sorry, no hardshell case) that has only been used a couple of times
  • Will be well packed for shipment
  • Weight: 10 lbs. even on the bathroom scale

Ships continental US only. Please do not ask for international shipping!

This bass is listed on ebay as well so first come, first served (though I'd much rather sell it here on TB).

Paypal or USPS money order accepted.

Sorry, no trades. I'm pretty much set right now in terms of equipment and am currently GAS-free (of course, that probably won't last long).
