Up for sale is my first fretless (shed a tear) that I am only letting go because I got my Roscoe fretless in Buckeye Burl (finally!).
This bass was one of the last German made ones to have a wenge neck. Here are the specs for my Warwick Standard 5:
Wenge neck
Ebony fretless fingerboard (unlined)
Bubinga body
Gold MEC pickups
Active/Passive pull switch
Stacked concentric knobs for...help me out here...I'm not sure.
Set up with a new set of Sadowsky flatwounds.
Comes with a Warwick gig bag.
This bass has a lot of mwah and growl, and just a huge spectrum of tones. The body has some really nice wood grain figurings and the wenge neck gives it an awesome tone.
Their is some very minor buckle rash (and I mean minor) on the back of the bass that the camera could not pickup, and some very minor fretboard wear (and again, I mean MINOR) from the previous owner that strung the bass with roundwound strings.
I am asking for $750 shipped, or best offer, just nothing ridiculous. I am willing to split paypal fees as well.
