As much as I love this bass I really dont need any 4 string basses at the moment. Its an awesome bass but I really need that 5th string as it makes my playing a lot more effortless.
I know I should just stick with 4's but I like to play chords and its just easier on the hands and wrists with extra strings.
This is my 3rd Dirty Blonde and by far the best shape, condition I ever had!! The bass is Mint! I bought it from a warwick collector and the bass came to me with original emp strings the bass was shipped in. The bass has new DR high beams now as I prefer nickel over steal.
This is #56 of 300-350 dirty blondes ever made?? There are no wear marks on this baby. My other two dirty blondes had shiny areas where my forearm rested on but this has absolutely none! Its still the perfect satin finish as it came from the factory!.
I have all paperwork, case candy, warranty card, certificate of authenticity, etc with this bass.
The bass has an ash body with birdseye poplar top with matching headstock. Maple neck with a beautifully figured tigerstripe ebony fingerboard. The just a nut is the only just a nut on a warwick I ever got that didnt come to me broken. Its in great shape!!
If you look at the pictures the ebony board is AMAZING!! The bird inlays just give it that WOW factor.
Sound?? Most punchiest warwick I have ever owned (next to a ss2) With the Traditional P pickup and a TJ pickup very close to the bridge the bass is very versatile. It has a 3 band MEC eq. Volume/blend stack (pull for passive), Mid control, High/Bass stack (pull to split TJ into single coil!!)

Weight?? low 8lbs lightest warwick I have ever owned. Balances great on a strap.

Why am I selling it?? Well like I said I need a 5 string or a certain Streamer Stage 2.
So unless you have a Warwick SS2 for trade dont bother asking me for trades.
Price?? - I am firm on this price as it is harder and harder to find these blondes and especially in this condition.

Comes with rockbag.

$1500.00 shipped

I think its worth every penny. I sold my first dirty blonde for $1400.00 and the last one for $1250.00 (locally) and those two werent even in half the condition this one is!!

Heres the pictures!!! Enjoy and if you have any questions just feel free to ask!! My connection sucks at work so I might be slow to answer during the day time.

If you see a crazed bass player in the news here soon that robbed a gas station for 1500 then you probably know where that money's being spent.

KILLER BASS, Bump for beauty

Best regards,

Brooks

Thanks for all the comments! I know my asking price seems a bit steep but I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in the condition this bass is in!
I will consider adding cash for a wenge neck streamer stage 2 (4 or 5 string)
I will also consider older cherry body wenge neck streamer nt. of course cash will be added on my side.

WOW!!
Does Guitar center reeeeally have one of these listed as used at $2,199????
That's great! Well great for us who own one of these bad boys....hahaha!!

Shows they are not only holding their value, but on the increase as well.
Now that German Wicks have went insanely high in price.... these should be going up in Value.
Seems they are

Mine is #63.....made a day or so after yours I would guess.
These are beautiful basses! And well worth whatever is asked price wise!
Finding a Minty LE Dirty Blonde is not an easy task.
Someone will be happy they bought this from you!
The pattern in the poplar top is beautiful on this one too...
Good luck with the sale!

I had Dunlop flush mount strap locks professionally added as well. Not in a huge rush to sell so price will not be dropping.

Bump, for one of the nicest members of our bass community. Jon had his Talkbass account hacked, so he had to set up a new one. His previous handle was Seungkoo. He has over 50 positive transactions. I know because I participated in 4 or 5 of them. Jon is the Warwick Whisperer. I have my Streamer Stage I because of him and will be forever grateful for the amazing deal. Here is a picture of it because I cant help it. Its a 1991.

Thanks brother. They sound so right. Because I can't leave stuff alone I am going to sand her down and refinish in Gretsch orange. Good luck with the sale. Someone is going to be very happy with the Dirty Blonde!
