FS Warwick Dolphin pro 5 string

Sign in to disble this ad
2002 Warwick Dolphin SN with dolphin inlays. recessed strap locks(so you do not poke yourself and tweak the end of the wood)
Note, this is not the Pro 1 which is a NT only. This is the SN.
Looks like it and plays like it, but is not a NT.
Every other SN dolphin I've ever seen does not have the nice dolphin in lays nor the recessed strap locks.

- 5 string
- Ovangkol body and neck
- Wenge fingerboard with dolphin inlays
- 34" scale
- 26 frets
- MEC J/TJ pups with MEC 2 band eq
- 2-piece bridge, gold hardware
- Just-A-Nut II
- Recessed strap locks(really nice feature)

This bass is in top shape, not new, but very close.
I had a tough time finding anything all wrong with it even being really picky.

Note, this is the only dolphin in lays I've ever seen on a SN, and the SN plays just like the neck through. I did not think so either till I played them both.

I really wanted to make this bass work but does not fit my playing style I'm after and I am going to go back to the warwick thumb. I wish I could say otherwise, really. I love the shape and look, and the inlays, electronics etc, hate to do this really.

Ships in nice gig bag, which is in like new shape also.
Ship cost will be about 40$ and will be bubble wrapped and then well packed in a box.

2000$ OBO

If you have a nice NT Thumb in very nice shape+ cash, I will consider, or a Steinberger L-2 there may be a trade. No other trades are of interest.

You will be extremely pleased with this bass if you are lucky enough to get it.

Here are some more trade options:

Alembics(4 strings, any scale length, fretted)
Spector natural wood, ( fretted 4 strings) + cash depending
Warwick Thumb NT 4string + cash
Steinberger L-2 good shape= even trade

This is an excellent bass is 9.8 out of 10 shape.
Comes with a Warwick gig bag.

**Shipping** is included in the price BTW.

I'm fairly specific on the trade part, but never hurts to ask.

Such a gorgeous bass. It used to be my dream bass at one point. Too bad I'm shying away from boutique nowadays.

Bump!

Thanks, its really a superb instrument.
I just am not going to get along with the way it hangs on me, excellent for the players that like it lower down, fingers, picks etc.

It hurts me since I love the look, inlays and sound, but a Thumb is the only other option if I stick with a warwick.

Thanks for the offer, a bit too far.

Still looking for a nice bass........or it's soon to head to ebay and then I can haggle with cash

Fretted 4 strings:
Spector NT 4 strings, Thumb NT's fretted, Modulus flea bass maybe, Stein L-2+ cash, etc.

Thanks for the interest though.

cool bass!

I can't tell from the pic, does this have the 20mm spacing or the 17.5?
