I have only gigged this particular bass once. I acquired this bass in a warranty claim, they simply replaced my other one. While the situation with this Star Bass was being resolved, I bought a 5string WW Thumb and once I got the Star out of warranty, I continued playing the Thumb, so off this goes. I don't like to have more than 3 basses, and I've had my eye on a Fender Deluxe MIA 5string in natural.
This Warwick Star bass 4String is practically brand new, has the:
34" scale neck, 4 string, Wenge fingerboard, made in Korea. Semi-hollow maple body, Warwick MEC single coil pups, 3d bridge, adjustable nut, warwick bell brass (bronze) frets, passive VVTT controls. It is set up with roto rounds right now, and I have found they painlessly switch to the D'Addario Chromes, if that's the route you want to go. These basses sound fantastic, I am selling because I am now a 5string convert, and I prefer active basses. Comes with the special semi-hollow body sized rock bag gig bag, good quality and padding. Not quite 10lbs on the bathroom scale.
$1000 PayPal ships CONUS
P.S. Warwick doesn't make these in Korea currently and these are available as the RockBass Chinese version which use rosewood, nickel frets, and 32" scale.
