FS: Warwick Streamer LX 4 string (black)

Its a 2005 warwick streamer LX 4 string model. Made in Germany of course.

I am selling this bass because I have realized what I want in my main bass. A streamer stage II 4 string. So I have my 5 string streamer stage II up for sale or trade too. And I am going to sell this bass too because once I get my streamer stage II 4 string I will need a 5 string bass for my 5 string needs.

This bass is just oozing with warwick goodness. For those that think wood does not affect tone, you have not played a good german made warwick.

The body is a Flamed A maple 2 piece body. Ovankol neck and wenge fingerboard. This bass has gold hardware and an adjustable brass nut.

There are small dings below the rear control cavity and some spots on the bass where the finish is turning a bit glossy due to wear. Right on top of the P pickup where my finger rested.

The neck is dead straight, Truss rod turns both ways, but you really wont need to adjust this bass much. The neck is nice and strong.

There is absolutely no neck dive and to kill all that warwick sterotype, the bass weighs in a 8.8 lbs on a digital scale and balances nicely on a strap with no effort.

The gold hardware is in good condition. No signs of tarnishing or losing color. I will ship with both gold schaller straplock button and the original warwick/dunlop locking system.

The nut is 1.5" and the neck is not your typical baseball sized neck people associate warwicks with. Its actually real slim and fast. Feels like a MIM 70's classic series Jazz neck to me. If you want to compare.

I have a set of prosteels on it and a set of flatwounds for it. The bass sounds fantasic with both.

As for electronics its the original MEC pickups and 2 band MEC preamp.

This bass has that classic P bass growl, Jaco growl, Warwick growl....got it all.

Price: $1200.00 with awesome gigbag =)

heres the pictures now!!
