I previously had this bass listed in another thread which started as a trade thread, so to sidestep any confusion, I created this FS only thread.
This is my 1990 Warwick Streamer Stage I 6-string, which is an extremely amazing bass, yet not quite right for me. I have replaced this bass in my arsenal with a Thumb NT 6 string that I enjoy a bit more.
You may never see another 1990 SSI 6 string in this good condition! This thing is nearly perfect. There is one notable scratch, as shown in one of the close ups of the arm rest area below, and as the picture right after that shows, you can't see it from more than 12" away as it blends with the grain of the flamed maple. I could have easily sanded/buffed this out, but I just haven't. There is also one dent in the very top of the headstock, next to the serial, as one of the other photos shows.
As you can see, there is absolutely NO buckle rash! The frets are original, and in tremendous shape. You really would not believe this bass was 21 years old unless someone told you.
The signature on the back cover plate is in silver paint pen, and is from Rocco Prestia from Tower of Power! It is short for Keep Your Dreams Alive, which he told me after a show in Seattle when he signed this. If you don't like it, it could be scratched off. You can also buy a replacement cover plate from Warwick for 25 Euros I believe.
I have replaced the fairly guts-less original Bartolini pickups with active Seymour Duncan Basslines, which sound awesome! The Basslines were about 1 mm too large for the cavities, so instead of modifying the bass in any way, I took a tiny bit of material off of the corners of the pickups. Practically imperceptible from almost any angle. The bass still has the original Bart preamp from 1990. The black stacked knob that you can see in the pics is from when I had an Aggie preamp in there, but now all 4 knobs are the same gold, domed shape that originally came on the bass. Like all Streamer Stage I basses and Streamer Basses (as they were known pre-SSII), this bass features wide string spacing. It is 20mm from the factory, but it's adjustable and is currently set around 18mm.

Trades are really not what I'm looking for here, with a single caveat: a Jerzy Drozd 5 or 6 string. That's it. I appreciate that you want to offer something else, but if you look at the headstock and you don't see a JD, then you're better off just holding onto that bass, or offering to someone looking for trades. Thank you!
I'm selling this bass, along with a hardshell case that's pretty much only suitable for shipping (it is ugly!), and a Warwick gig bag, for $2,250, including ground shipping to the lower 48 states. This is a great deal, as the new ones go for about 3x that much, and this one is one of the originals with all the cool mojo, thinner neck, no heel behind the headstock, only "Streamer Bass" written on the truss rod cover (there were no SSI and SSI yet, there was only the Streamer model)!
Here's some bass porn!

People don't check their FS threads daily, so you could potentially miss out on a deal. Plus, it's just common courtesy. Also, I might be mistaken but I believe it's against TOS to make offers via the thread. You can only do that via PM's. [/End Rant]
Beautiful Warwick, btw
