Seems like every one has a sob story to go with their sale. here's mine. NOTE *if you have a weak stomach you might not want to read on. you see i need to restore my 1971 dodge tradesman van to it's proper glory.the shag carpet has seen better days and the suspension needs work. it's really a mess. the wiring looks like the inside of a vintage vox amp( rats nest of splices) so in effort to raise the dough to put the boat in dry dock and scrape of some barnackles, i wanted to see what you all might be interested in from my stash. pics will follow.

Warwick Star Bass Bubinga like a pimped out 34" scale guild starfire. i have two, only need one. includes warwick gigbag(it's nicer than my house) and a telephone book sized owners manual also i think you can see the(insert diety of your choice) in the wood grain. this one was at namm and has the matte finish- 2700
Travis Bean tb2000 Imron neck koa comes with anvil flight case that has a hot tuna addres label on it that is the old JA house. just sayin' keep them lamps trimmed and burnin-3500
Jerry jones neptune long horn 4 string copper burst with case-On hold pending payment
Jerry jones 6-string bass long horn copper. early with wooden bridge with case-550
EPIphone Jack Casady black light playing wear includes original hard case-560
Guild Starfire cherry mahogany single neck pu OG hagstrom aka original darkstar just got new frets and TI flats. I need to replace the jack as it is coroded and i did evict a spider out of the f-hole. he was pissed. spiders don't like deoxit. sorry Charlotte- 2500 w/case

I love me some "Anchorman" references!

Very nice & unique bunch of basses you're offering... don't see any of these up for grabs on TB usually.

Good luck with the sales!

I sold the Neptune Longhorn to John. I bought it off TB.
NICE bass. No issues. It was my bass when I had a bad back. Not sure why I sold it....
Not many JJ's come up. Like the reviews say, JJ is twice the quality of a Dano reissue (imho).

I am so buying an OzLotto ticket right now...

Until I win the lottery, mind elaborating on the tonal aspect of the starbass...?

dying to hear what it sounds like...

and then get my hands on it ;-)

you'd have to win the lottery to get a bean these days.

Well, yeah... but then I don't have the ultra-cool-mega-awesome ability to say that I own a Bean.

And tomorrow... tomorrow I'm winning the lottery.

I have owned two bean basses, one standard guitar and an electrical bass. all were great instruments. If i need that Bean tone i would order another electrical. I like the all metal neck and fretboard feature.
