SOLD: Warwick Vampyre SN 4

Sign in to disble this ad
i have finally decided to let one of my rare vampyres go

i'll be selling this for $1,300 shipped to the USA (for other locations, please PM me) and i'll only be accepting paypal as the mode of payment. it will be shipped in a beaten warwick hardcase (the one used when my Vampyre LTD was shipped to me). I'll do my best to provide ample protection though.

this bass is hardly mint, some of the things worth noting:

1.) it has a quarter sized paint chip near the butt end

2.) it has swirl marks

3.) one of the knobs has some slight discoloration (probably from contact with a cymbal cleaner)

4.) the pickup height screws aren't as tight (this happens to warwicks that age apparently, since this is also the thing with my Vampyre LTD)

5.) i have REMOVED the red pentagram inlay stickers, and they did not leave any marks.

here are some pics:

and here's a video of it in action:

Sobakasu (from Samurai X opening theme) - bass play along - YouTube

-*-

i might consider trades ... maybe a white Gibson Thunderbird or a Black Rick 4003

among the 3 vampyres i own, this one has the best playability.

among the 7 basses i own, this one is top 2 as far as playability goes. top 1 goes to the Ken Smith BSR5MS

Stock MEC pups?

Its going to come down to this or a pre 99 thumb.

The hardest decisions in life always pertain to Warwicks.

yes, no edits and customization in this bass.

lol reading your nick reminds me of the times i hated "Fender tone" ... and how i eventually came full circle and GAS-sing for Fender type basses now.
