I believe due to high manufacturing costs Washburn stopped making the AB 34 and AB 35 many years ago. They were and still are the best acoustic bass for the money by far IMO. This AB 34 is almost like new as well as the case. Full 34 inch scale with 24 frets, buttery low action, fishman pre, 1/4 inch and XLR out, comes with the 1/4 inch plug for when only using the XLR. I also own the AB 35 and am keeping that one with me on my move to Boulder, CO. Ken Lawrence did the fret work on this bass to make it simply a killer instrument, he even commented on the build quality of these instruments. This bass plays and sounds better than all the Taylor AB basses I've owned as well. Enough said, 24 hour approval period if you for some reason don't like the bass.
