I have a problematic back so I am offering this bass for sale. It's a 1985 MIJ Bantam bass in Matte black. It has all the original hardware/pickups/electronics. The only thing not original is the strap buttons are Dunlop strap locks. It comes with the OHSC and an Artist Showcase 4" wide leather strap. The bass is currently strung with Ernie Pink Slinky's on both necks with low action. It plays like butter and has a distinctive growl on the fretted neck and some serious mwahh on the fretless. The pickups are actually single coils and this thing gets the Jaco tone when the bridge P/U is soloed on the fretless neck. Be warned this is one heavy bass between 11 and 12 pounds on my bathroom scale. This bass is 26 years old and she shows it. I am asking $600 shipped continental US only.
