The bass is in near-perfect condition except for a small group of three very minor dings on the back, about 1/32" across, you can just barely feel them and I cannot get them to show up in a photograph.
I purchased this bass in July 2008 directly from Dave Wendler for $1,000 plus shipping. Dave built it for NAMM in 2007 and he subsequently kept it as his personal bass. I am fairly certain that it is the bass that is pictured on the Wendler web page here:

This is a super-warm, sweet sounding bass that is very easy to play and intonate. Great for copping a double-bass-like tone. Here is sound sample of the bass, recorded direct to the computer via an audio interface:

I love this bass, but I rarely play it. I have two Rob Allen MB-2 5-strings with the high-C and I’m hooked on that string configuration.
$750 + actual cost of shipping with insurance. Paypal payment required. I will ship either UPS or FEDEX, whichever you prefer. The bass will be shipped inside a Kaces gig bag, packed in an appropriately sized box. If you wish to estimate shipping cost, my zip code is 84098.
I’m sorry but I am not interested in any trades.
Cheers,
Jeff
